Ellysa is the Ecologist with Rock Leaf and has over five years of experience in prairie restoration, land management (e.g., prescribed fire, cattle grazing, etc.), vegetation and insect surveys (e.g., aquatic and terrestrial plants, monarch butterflies, and ground-nesting bees), and technical writing (e.g., wildlife habitat management plans, prairie stewardship plans, management briefs, and environmental assessments).

Ellysa Johnson

Libby brings vegetative and land management expertise to project teams in the field and office alike. Her knowledge is specialized around Minnesota’s wetland and prairie ecosystems, having assisted with both the development of management plans and Level 1 & 2 wetland delineations. As a natural resources technical writer, she helps gather and sythesize information to generate reports including wetland delineation reports, categorical exclusions, and stewardship plans. Libby has completed more than 32 hours of ArcGIS training and assists on variety Rock Leaf projects by producing maps and surveys to streamline workflow and enhance deliverables.

Libby has delineated over 50 wetlands across six separate sites using the Routine Determination Methodology Level 2 described in the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and regional supplement for the Northcentral and Northeast region and is a Minnesota Wetland Professional In-Training (#5557).
