Ellysa Johnson
Ellysa brings over 5 years of experience in prairie restoration, land management, ecological surveys, and technical writing. Her expertise includes prescribed fire, grazing systems, native and invasive vegetation surveys, and pollinator research, including monarch butterflies and ground-nesting bees across mixed- and tallgrass prairies in North Dakota and western Minnesota.
Ellysa has authored numerous habitat management plans stretching across the state of Minnesota, encompassing more than 3,000 acres of public and private lands under conservation easement and has prepared prairie stewardship plans, management briefs, and environmental assessments. She has also developed a survey framework for a governmental entity to support climate-smart easement acquisitions.
