State Office Building Renovation & Addition

Rock Leaf Water Environmental prepared an EAW in compliance with Minnesota Rules 4410 for the renovation and expansion of the State Office Building located at 100 Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in Saint Paul. The proposed Project is a comprehensive renovation and addition to the Building to address current safety, security, functionality, and accessibility concerns. The scope includes but is not limited to addressing building envelope and Building systems including health, life safety, and security systems to meet current local and State building codes, standards, workplace needs, and public access and accommodation needs.

Public comments on this EAW were open through July 26, 2023 at 4:00 pm. The EAW can be found at the link below or by visiting the Administration Building (50 Sherburne Ave, St. Paul, MN 55155).

The EAW and respective comments were reviewed in accordance with Minnesota Rules 4410.1700 to determine if the project has the potential for significant environmental effects. Rock Leaf Water Environmental has prepared a Record of EIS Decision in collaboration with the Department of Administration. This document includes responses to comments received by the Minnesota Department of Administration, the Findings of Fact supporting the decision, and the Record of Decision indicating an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not necessary for this project.
