Goal: Healthy Habitats

To maintain a healthy ecosystem, many habitat types need occasional maintenance and monitoring. This is even more necessary after initial ecological restoration projects. Many projects require several years of management and follow-up treatments. Our goal at Rock Leaf is to provide the best circumstances and conditions for your natural resource project. For example, if native species are planted, we would want to monitor this planting for survival and weed encroachment until the plants are established. For invasive species management, additional monitoring is typically needed to remove resprouts or new growth from the seed bank.

Helping You

At Rock Leaf we provide several ecological services to maintain and monitor your natural resources project. This can include anything from prescribed burning to maintaining a healthy prairie or woodland, monitoring and surveying vegetation, inventory erosion, and managing ongoing projects. We recognize that each project is unique and have the experience and expertise to draft a plan that will suit the client’s needs, consider land use objectives, and meet ecological goals.
